About Me

Kizzy Ridpath DipCFHP MPSPract

Feet? Why Feet? That’s what a lot of people asked me when I said I wanted to train as a Foot Health Practitioner.

Some years ago I studied Health and Social Care and although it wasn’t right for me at the time it planted a seed. Years later, when I was looking for a change in career, I knew it should be working with people in a way that really mattered.

During my research into potential career paths, such as home help and community work the topic of mobility kept coming up. The more I read, the more it resonated with me.

Poor mobility has a massive impact on people’s health, wellbeing and independence. Studies have shown that it has strong links with health deterioration both physically and mentally. Investigating common issues that impact mobility led me to train as a Foot Health Practitioner.

It’s those people who have never suffered any foot pain that ask Why Feet? Those who have, or do suffer, ask for my card!
